Collblanc station
Collblanc is the terminus of Line 10 Sud and a through station on Line 5 and Line 9 Sud.
In the 1954 plan for the Transversal Alto (today’s L5) it appeared as Collblanch, one of the two intermediate stops on a branch towards Avinguda de Sant Ramon Nonat. After years on hold, the contractor Dragados y Construcciones began work on 7 November 1964, and the station opened on 29 November 1969 as San Ramón, the terminus of the new line. It remained so until 5 February 1973, when the minister Gonzalo Fernández de la Mora opened the extension to Pubilla Cases; in 1982 it took the name Collblanc.
In 1999 it was completely refurbished to a design by the architects Sánchez Piulats. The 2001-2010 Infrastructure Master Plan proposed turning it into an interchange with L9 Sud and L10 Sud; the works, scheduled for 2014 and then for 2016, were completed when both lines arrived on 12 February 2016. The L9/L10 ticket hall replaced the old Sant Ramon exit and includes lifts down to the L5 platforms. Today it is the terminus of L10 Sud.
