About Line 10 Sud
Between Can Tries | GornalES and Collblanc it shares the track with Line 9 Sud. They are two separate lines, each with its own timetable.
L10 Sud (south) runs from ZAL | Riu Vell, in the Zona Franca industrial estate, to Collblanc, where you can change to L5. It has 11 stations and its trains have no driver. Three of the stations, Port Comercial | La Factoria, Ecoparc and ZAL | Riu Vell, stand on the viaduct along Carrer A of the industrial estate.
Between Can Tries | GornalES, Torrassa and Collblanc it shares the track and platforms with L9 Sud, and at Torrassa you can also change to L1. From Ciutat de la JustíciaES a walkway leads to Ildefons Cerdà, on FGC’s L8. TMB counts 26.1 km for L9 Sud and L10 Sud taken together.

History
The Zona Franca branch was delayed even longer than the airport branch. In January 2012 the Generalitat postponed its opening, even though part of it was needed so that L9 trains could reach the depot in the Zona Franca. In November 2012 the tunnel boring machine, which had stood idle since the end of 2011, started up again to dig the 800 metres to the junction with the airport branch. In the meantime that tunnel served as a service access to the depot and carried the power supply for the line.
Can Tries | Gornal, Torrassa and Collblanc opened in February 2016 together with L9 Sud. L10 Sud services began in September 2018 between Collblanc and Foc, with the new stations of Foneria and Foc. Provençana followed in March 2019, Ciutat de la Justícia in November 2019 and Zona Franca at the beginning of 2020. In November 2021 the three viaduct stations opened, taking the line to ZAL | Riu Vell.
How the service runs
The service is almost perfectly even: at Foneria there are 7 or 8 trains an hour in each direction at any time of day, weekends included, which works out at roughly one every 8 minutes. On Saturday night trains run all night, with 4 to 6 an hour in the small hours, and on Fridays the service runs until after 2:00. On the section shared with L9 Sud, from Can Tries | Gornal to Collblanc, trains of both lines stop.
The trains
The line uses Alstom 9000 series trains, the same as on L9, which run without a driver in fully automatic mode. They are almost 90 metres long, with five open-gangway cars, and carry up to 960 people. Glass screen doors line the platforms and open in step with the train doors, and the stations are staffed by automatic-line operations technicians who can take control of a train if needed.

Because that is the end of the section now in service. Collblanc, Torrassa and Can Tries | Gornal form the trunk it shares with L9 Sud; the extension northwards depends on the central section, where works resumed in 2022 with completion expected in 2029.
