Aeroport T1 is the terminus of Line 9 Sud.

Line 9 Sud ends here, beneath Terminal 1 of Barcelona-El Prat airport, within the municipality of El Prat de Llobregat. The station was built at the same time as the terminal and sits inside the same building: the platforms are on the lowest level and the ticket hall is shared with the airport, so you enter from inside T1 rather than from the street.

It was originally meant to open in 2007, but it only came into service on 12 February 2016, the day L9 Sud itself was inaugurated. There are escalators and lifts. Its only neighbour on the line is Aeroport T2, which serves the other terminal; from there trains continue towards Zona Universitària. The two airport stations have different ticket rules from the rest of the line, explained on our page about the metro to the airport.
